The individual and social behaviors of the homosexual protagonists are explored in the light of two different eras, fifty years apart: the 1950s and our days (2015), suggesting the persistence of some aspects of the past in the current condition.
SCENOGRAPHY
The scenography reflects this confrontation, which is quite close, given that the transitions between one era and the another follow each another for nine times during the show. Two English living rooms, one from the 1950s and one contemporary, alternate in the scene, always revealing parts of the past.
A mysterious nocturnal park, a psychiatrist’s studio and a publisher’s studio complete the environments necessary for the story.
