Eleonora Duse Exhibition
The exhibition “Eleonora Duse’s Journey Around the World”, hosted at Teatro della Pergola in Florence, gives the complex image of the personality of the “Divine” Eleonora in the panorama of Italian and international culture of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
MUSEUM EXHIBITION AT TEATRO DELLA PERGOLA IN FLORENCE
Through paintings, scenographic sketches, costumes and dresses, period photographs, playbills and posters, letters and telegrams, objects and memorabilia, the exhibition aims to highlight Duse’s freedom, creative autonomy and innovative spirit.
Some inclined platforms hold together the different objects and a video contribution. A series of simple vertical displays with overhanging counters host images, publications and didactic texts in the long gallery.

Studio Benaim worked on the temporary museum set-up of the exhibition dedicated to Eleonora Duse. The intervention was carried out by the project team: André Benaim and Fabio Azzato.
