A Tuscan farmhouse dating back to the 11th century, with a barn annex, set in a large three-hectare garden within the gentle hilly landscape of the Florentine Chianti.
INTERNAL RENOVATION
The building had been the subject, in the 1970s, of interventions inconsistent with its original spatiality. The goal was therefore a work on cleaning up the distribution, which freed some main rooms from previous fragmentation, restoring a more fluid and unitary spatiality.
All this both in respect of the original layout and, at the same time, obtaining a space quality closer to contemporary sensitivity: more visual permeability, more dialogue between adjacent spaces, linearity.
