A new theater in Varese
In addressing the theme of the new theater and the complex in via Ravasi, the question of the the buildings placement has taken on a decisive role with respect to the surrounding urban voids.
DESIGN OF A THEATER
The theater typology is the one with a central stage, shared by the large internal hall (with stalls and gallery, for a total of 1500 seats) and by the external cavea (about 800 seats) for shows that can be enjoyed outdoors by the small rear square.
The complex of via Ravasi is configured as a multi-purpose block articulated on several levels (a plate intended for the tertiary sector and 5 residential towers), which overlooks the new theater and the Piazza della Repubblica.
